Our Studio

The Mission of our studio is for students to learn the language of music through the piano in a joyful yet challenging atmosphere. To fulfill this mission we incorporate the following into our teaching:

Each student's learning style is considered.
This traditional classical approach includes theory and ensures strong development of technique and reading skills.
A variety of learning dynamics and experiences are provided through a balance of private lessons, master classes, performances, and festivals.
Students will enjoy playing their "favorites" in style as well as becoming aware of all styles of the musical language.

Pamela Vining

Pamela Vining is a Piano Performance graduate of The Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. As a student she began teaching in 1968 for her conservatory's prep department and has taught ever since. Fifteen of those years she professionally conducted, accompanied, and administrated choirs.

Her students have always spanned Adult to earliest beginners, from beginner to advanced. Several of her students have gone on to enjoy professional music careers.
